Dear Friends,
After 43 years for Dawn and 39 years for Stephen, we have decided that it is time to hang up our drill and suction. We will therefore be retiring at the end of May 2020 and wanted to take this opportunity to tell all our patients and say a personal goodbye to as many of you as possible. It has been wonderful to look after you for these past years and consider you all to be our friends as well as our patients.
Rest assured that Cotteswold House will continue to provide the best dental care and we leave a great team, led by Rachel, who will make sure that the practice stays at the forefront of all developments in the world of dentistry.
For most of you, your personal care will be taken over by Jess or Matt. Both are experienced dentists and are integral members of our team. Jess has been at the practice since 2015 and Matt since 2017. They are both very capable dentists with a high level of expertise as well as being very approachable and caring. Jess will however be on maternity leave for the latter part of next year so you may initially see her maternity cover, which is being provided by Sinead, another excellent dentist who was with us for Jess’ last maternity leave. They will be supported by our Hygienists, Jo and Elaine, as well as our great nursing and reception staff.
Whilst not expected at all, if you wish to mark our retirement, please let reception know. Rather than gifts, we thought we would ask you to “Sponsor our retirement” by donating to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Should you wish to donate to this worthy cause, which has affected Steve’s wife for several years, we would be very grateful.
