Preparation
The underarm area is cleaned and disinfected. Sometimes numbing topical anaesthetic cream is used to reduce discomfort.
Injection Procedure
Very fine needles are used to inject small amounts of Botox just under the skin, in a grid-like pattern. Typically, 10–15 small injections under each arm.
Aftercare
You can usually return to normal activities immediately. But it’s best to avoid intense exercise, hot baths and saunas, or rubbing the treated area for 24 – 48 hours. Some minor redness, swelling, or tenderness may occur at the injection sites.
