How Much Do Dental Implants Cost in Gloucester? Value, Breakdown & Payment Plans

Written by Rachel Addison

As Principal Dentist at Cotteswold House Dental Care, I meet many people who are considering dental implants and want clear, honest information about costs, value and what the process involves. Implants are a long lasting way to replace missing teeth and restore confidence, but the price reflects far more than the placement of the implant itself. Careful planning, detailed assessment and a highly skilled clinical team all play a vital role in achieving predictable, natural looking results.

In this blog, I want to give you a clear picture of what goes into implant treatment, how we plan every stage, and the payment options that can help you manage the cost.

Why Planning Matters so Much

Implant treatment begins long before the day of placement. The consultation and assessment stage is the foundation of the entire journey. During your visit, we take time to understand your goals, examine your oral health and gather all the information needed to plan your treatment precisely.

This includes detailed photographs, digital scans, CBCT imaging and X rays. Each element helps us assess bone levels, gum health, bite forces and the space available for your final restoration. Good planning ensures the implant is positioned exactly where it needs to be for long term stability, natural aesthetics and comfortable function. It also allows us to identify any preparatory work that may be needed to support the best possible outcome.

Our Implant Team at Cotteswold House Dental Care

Implant dentistry is a specialist area and we are fortunate to have a highly experienced team delivering this care.

Dr Guy Bailey leads our implant service. Guy is medically trained with a background in surgery and more than a decade of implant experience. His training includes advanced courses across the UK, Ireland and Switzerland, along with a Diploma in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol. Guy is known for his calm, gentle manner and his ability to support nervous clients through complex restorative and aesthetic treatment.

One of our recent clients, Perry, shared her recent experience with us:

“The implant went in very smoothly…Guy was so understanding, very gentle and explained every step of the way. I’m pain free for the first time in years”

Working closely with Guy is Dr Souad Maddi – a restorative and aesthetic dentist with a strong focus on minimally invasive care. She uses modern digital techniques and thoughtful planning to create long lasting, natural looking results tailored to each patient’s goals.

We are also fortunate to have Jessica Pascoe, an experienced restorative dentist with particular interest in complex crown and bridgework, oral surgery, dentures and implantology. She has completed extensive postgraduate training and mentorship with leading UK clinicians, and her calm, empathetic manner makes her especially popular with nervous clients.

Accessibility and Comfort at our Practice

Our friendly Gloucester practice here on Cotteswold Road is designed to be welcoming and accessible, with easy parking and ground floor facilities for those who need them. If you have any specific access requirements, just let us know when booking your appointment

For clients who feel anxious or would benefit from additional support, we offer intravenous sedation delivered by highly qualified clinicians with extensive experience. Sedation can make implant treatment feel much more manageable and is often appreciated by those undergoing longer or more complex procedures.

Our therapy dog Posey is also on hand, offering a comforting paw to anyone who needs a little extra reassurance.
